Weekly Meal Plan 10/1 - 10/7

Whew...that game was a squeaker...AND the real question is when are the REAL refs coming back?? Sour grapes...I know....

This weekend was pretty low key, but fun! Our cousins were in town for the game and we had a fantastic dinner with them and their friends. We also had a few friends over for the Packer game last night. I was very happy that my friend Katie's husband Pete yells at the t.v. as much as my husband! This is week we don't have a lot on our agenda (I have been trying to slow us down as D-day get closer), but our Doula is coming over on Wednesday! I am also hoping that Ron and I can go see Taken 2 on Friday night- loved the first one.

Here is what is on tap:

Monday: Italian Chicken, Mashed Potatoes and Broccoli (Carry over from last night- we had brats)
Tuesday: Out to Dinner with Workout Guru Eydie at El Serape!
Wednesday: Tatertot Casserole and Green Beans (Our Doula is coming for a visit....I will have Pumpkin Pie Crescents!)
Thursday:  Tacos, Rice and Beans
Friday: Out to Dinner
Saturday: Grilled Beer Brats, Grill Potatoes and Cauliflower
Sunday: Go PACK Go!! Crockpot Hot Beef Sandwiches and Grill Potatoes/ Veggies
Treats: Pumpkin Pie Crescents, Dutch Caramel Apple Pie and Caramel Apple Cider Cookies

  1. Hi,
We are heading to Green Bay this coming Saturday for a Sunday wedding and staying at the Comfort Suites. I've already eaten at 1951 West a few times. Can you list for me a few of your favorite restaurants? Favorite bar snack places count, too!

    1. Fun! We got married at the Rock Garden!

      Some of my favorites:

Nicky's in De Pere (I use to work there, but it is favorite that I bring friends to)has amazing sandwiches

Grazies is on the West side and is a great from scratch pasta place (one of our favorites)

Republic Chophouse is dowtown and is pricy but has an awesome menu

Hagemiester Park is a new bar resturant on Washington with a cool outdoor area

Chefusion is also a fun place with good drinks- they have a more casual menu upstairs

White Dog Black Cat Cafe is a cool little place on Broadway (I would check the website for hours)

Curly's Pub has really good cheese curds and is in the stadium

Titletown resturant/bar is another fun place with different homebrews

The Bar serves till midnight (I think) and there is one on the East and West side

Fox Harbor is another fun dowton resturant/bar that has a nice menu and outdoor fire pit

Sidekicks is in De Pere and has my favorite Booyah

Nicolet Cafe in De Pere has an awesome breakfast!

      Hope this helps! :)

    2. THANK YOU! I didn't expect so many suggestions. I will do some map searches and check a few of these out.
BTW, I made your mac & cheese with the cheddar cheese soup on good!
      Go Pack Go!
